Some photos of the many many many books
we have in our library (over 22,000 to be exact)
So , you might be thinking? What exactly does our club do?
Well the message is clear in the title of the club , we try not to judge books and other forms of media based on how they first appear to us.
We get behind the story and look at books and media in new and creative ways.

Our goal is to show students at York Mills that reading doesn't have to be something you should be forced to do , you should want to do it.

How are we doing this?

This year we are turning books into movie trailers , the club votes on the book they want to turn into a movie and we create the trailer for it.
Our first book turned into movie is called The   Face on the Milk Carton . It's a thriller mystery   novel thats worth reading if you enjoy suspense and mystery.

We will also be using this website to communicate the message of not judging something by how it first appears   but by giving it second glance and then judge it.

What activities in the club   do we do?
We watch movies
We hold discussions and debates
We turn books into movie trailers
We aim to make reading more fun and enjoyable for all students in the school.
